Celebrated on 1st Shawwal after Ramadan. A day of joy, gratitude, and community.
Eid Prayer (Salat al-Eid)
نماز عید
2 rakat sunnah prayer, prayed after sunrise (15–20 min after). Not preceded by Adhan or Iqamah.

تکبیر
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah, Wallahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Wa lillahil Hamd
Zakat al-Fitr
زکوٰۃ فطر
Mandatory charity before Eid prayer — feeds one poor person. Amount: approx. $5–10.
Eid Breakfast
عید کا ناشتہ
Sunnah to eat something sweet (dates) before Eid prayer.
Ghusl & New Clothes
غسل اور نئے کپڑے
Take a bath, wear your best clothes, and apply perfume (men).
Takbeer on the Way
راستے میں تکبیر
Recite Takbeer aloud while going to the Eid prayer ground.
عید الاضحیٰ — Eid al-Adha
Celebrated on 10th Dhul Hijjah. Commemorates Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son.

Same 2 rakat prayer as Eid al-Fitr, with additional Takbeer in the first rakat.
Qurbani (Sacrifice)
قربانی
Animal sacrifice of sheep, goat, cow, or camel. Obligatory for those who can afford it.
Taqseem (Distribution)
تقسیم
Meat divided into 3 parts: 1/3 family, 1/3 friends/neighbors, 1/3 poor.
